E.V.A.C.

The club was formed in 1978 to encourage and provide competition for the increasing number of veteran runners who now make up over 50% of the adult running population of East Anglia. EVAC does not see itself competing with other clubs for membership but seeks to work with other clubs for the benefit of Veteran Athletes.

The club is affiliated to the British Masters Athletic Fedederation which is responsible for the administration of Vets athletics for both men and women together with the organisation of National Championships.

EVAC has championship events over all road distances, at cross country, and track and field leagues.
